PDF French Revolution: A History From Beginning to End (One Hour History Revolution Book 1) with Free EASY Reading!

This book presents a straightforward, concise outline of the French Revolution. This is a complex topic, but this book simplifies the events by providing a brief, bare bones narrative. The author demonstrates how the ideas that flourished due to the spirit of Enlightenment thinking, coupled with a non representative government created a bloody revolution. The author also points out how society was changing, moving away from strong beliefs in religion, and led by philosophers like Rousseau, Voltaire, Locke and Hume, replaced such rigid thinking with reason, the rights of the individual and the laws of nature. The causes and the lasting effects brought about by this earth shattering event are explored, along with the essential events that re-shaped society forever. However, If you have a even a minimal understanding of the French Revolution, you may find this book too basic. Although the author does a good job of explaining the events (especially given the space constraints), I was hoping for a little more discussion regarding why the revolution turned so violent and the motivations of the participants. So, I short, if you do not have a basic understanding of the French Revolution and want a quick read and an understanding of the essential events, this is the book for you! As such, this book fulfills that mission. Anything more, and the reader might be disappointed.
